Let's Talk Philly

We hosted our first On the Table Let’s Talk Philly event for Evoluer House Alum. These civic-minded young women of color met up to have a conversation on the unique challenges and barriers they are seeing in their lives. We believe that girls are experts in their own lives and wield immense power to transform their communities and the country. One solution they created is a “Brown Girls' Bill of Rights.” Check out an excerpt below. And gain insight on the eye-opening topics that Evoluer girls brought to the table in Sheila Simmons' Philadelphia Tribune commentary titled, "A Conversation With, About Black Girls."
