2022 Class Commencement

#EvoluerGirls primed for success upon completion of program

We rang in the graduation with a ceremony that featured a keynote address by a history-making media titan left the audience absolutely mesmerized. Sarah Glover, the Vice-president of News and Civic Dialogue at WHYY, delivered the electrifying keynote address. Glover reminded graduates of the life-changing skills they learned in the program. She also challenged them to harness their inner girl sparkle and strength. Her leadership as a champion for girls and powerful words of wisdom were an inspirational honor for our graduates.

Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake, stopped by to extend well wishes and congratulate our graduates.	On hand at the ceremony to present remarks were State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta and Cherri Gregg, Community Affairs Reporter, KYW Newsradio. You did it! Remember that obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. You have so much to be excited for. Start each day believing in your dreams. Know without a doubt that you were made for great things!
