Honoring new movers and shakers! This was the powerful message felt by all when extraordinary people came together for Rainbow Fashion Week “Top New Media Moguls” cocktail event on June 19th. Marking it’s 2nd year, the event honors a diverse group of individuals and organizations that support equality, including our very own Cheryl Wadlington, Evoluer House executive director. She received the 2015 “Gilbert Baker Community Empowerment Award,” an honor that acknowledges Cheryl’s leadership in running a grassroots organization that is improving lives and community conditions. Said Wadlington about the evening: “So many young girls in America and around the world face enormous challenges with strength and with courage. I accept this award on their behalf.”
